Introduction to polycarbonate

Polycarbonate pc sheet is a linear polymer that can be divided into three types: aliphatic, aliphatic-aromatic, and aromatic. Although many types of PC have been synthesized in the laboratory, so far, the main types of PC produced in large-scale industrial production are bisphenol A type. Therefore, what we generally call PC is bisphenol A type PC. PC is tasteless, odorless and non-toxic. It is a thermoplastic engineering plastic with excellent comprehensive properties.

Top leader plastic produced PC sheets have certain resistance to chemical corrosion. It is resistant to inorganic and organic dilute acid solutions, salt solutions and saturated potassium bromide solutions at room temperature. It is resistant to aliphatic hydrocarbons, naphthenes and most alcohols and oils. PC is soluble in methylene chloride. , m-cresol, cyclohexanone, pyridine and dimethylformamide; can only swell in ethyl acetate, tetrahydrofuran and benzene; can be blended with other resins to form PC blends or PC alloys to improve their solvent resistance and wear resistance; PC has outstanding impact resistance, creep resistance, high tensile strength, bending strength, elongation at break and rigidity, and has high heat resistance and cold resistance, and can be used at -100 Use within the temperature range of ~140℃.

PC has excellent electrical properties, low water absorption, and good light transmittance. The transmittance of visible light can reach 90%. It is the only variety with good transparency among the five general engineering plastics. It is widely used in electronic appliances, data carriers, and automobile parts. , medical equipment, construction, textile and packaging and other fields.
